Are they ready to move to their coop?

Hi everyone! I'm new to the chicken community, and I'd like to get your opinion.

I have two Cinnamon Queens and one Salmon Faverolle that are 5 weeks old.

The daytime temperatures are expected to range from the high 50s to 80s, with the lowest around 40 degrees. Is it safe to move them to their coop and run full-time now?

They seem fully feathered to me, but please let me know what you think.

i think they could move out. just make sure there is a heat lamp in their coop

Hi, welcome to the forum! Glad you joined!

To me. you are in that border area. I raise my chicks in the coop with a big brooder. I keep one area of the brooder toasty warm but allow the far end to cool off to ambient. Mine play a lot in the colder areas but they have a place to go warm up if they need to. By the time mine are 5 weeks old they can handle temperatures in the 30's. I've had them go through nights in the mid 20's F at 5-1/2 weeks old.

Yours would probably be OK even if they have not been exposed to colder temperatures if it only gets down to 40 F. They are fully feathered by now. I'd try it if I really wanted them out of the house.
