Arizona Chickens

Hi there, I'm giving away a 14 month old Silver Barnevelder Rooster, he's too loud for my neighbors.
Not human aggressive.
Good with his women.
Very tolerant of young peeps.
Has red leakage on his saddle since there's a sneaky Gold Barnevelder in his ancestry.

I'll deliver within 100 miles and meet you half way if farther, I just want this good boy to have a good home.

I hope someone wants him. Good luck.

Hello Arizona. I'm new here and live in the west valley. We have had at least one coyote in our neighborhood that jumps the walls and has been having chicken dinners on a regular basis. It got a couple of my girls and some of my neighbors have had losses too. I got a video of it on my trail cam and it was surprised to see it well after sunrise. I've been keeping chickens for about 15 years and this is the first time I've ever had an issue like this.

consider installing an additional trip wire on top of you fence wall.

Not sure of your situation but it sounds like your chickens are loose in the yard? Have you considered having an enclosed run inside the yard? We have a 10' x 20' enclosed run but we let them free range in the late afternoon until they return to roost. Then they get locked in the run again.

Hello! I hope everyone's surviving the heat. I'm checking around to see if anyone is interested in some hand raised roosters, they're from my hatch of late March early April, someone's already interested in dinner but of course since they're nice tempered so far, I wanted to check in to see if anyone is looking. I'm in east Mesa.
Our hatch theme was fruit so meet Taro and Mango. They are Green Queen EEs.

Stay cool everyone.
Heather
