We adopted this duck from a neglectful farm without realizing her health issues. After putting her through several varieties of treatments, she is better but not 100% right. I will post all the treatments I performed, and maybe you can recommend whether I should try the nebulizer at this point or not. Maybe, she just needs additional time for her voice to heal. But we can't be sure.

Duck Treatment Schedule

Adopted duck on 1/1/25
Started treatments on 1/2/25

Diet- New Country Organics duck grower.

Symptoms- Underweight, "doughy" crop with enlarged crop area, mallable and not firm. Wheezing and squeaking, unable to quack despite being 100% female; sounds like a seagull.

1/2/25- One single dose of 1% injectable Ivermectin, taken orally. 0.25 ml.
Began antibiotics, Clindamycin 300 mg pill- twice daily, 10 day regimen.
Daily apple cider vinegar added to water. Feed is New Country Organics duck grower feed.

1/3/25- Severe congestion breaking up, can hear it when breathing, wheezing more severe. Thick mucous being slung out of mouth. This lasted for two days and cleared. Voice still a whisper and unable to quack, but no longer squeaks like before.

1/6/25- Began SafeGuard. 0.25 ml once daily for 5 days. Began acidified copper sulfate water additive for 7 days as an antifungal. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of drinking water, with apple cider vinegar. Crop massages started, three times daily in a rotary motion, gently pushing upward toward crop drain area. Was given 1tsp coconut oil right before massage for one time only.

1/7/25- Changed feed to New Country Organics duck starter feed, to aid in digestion due to crop issue. Did this for 2 days because she didn't favor the feed. Crop size becoming noticeably smaller.

1/8/25- Given stool softener, 2 day regimen. 100 mg gel dosage.

1/9/25- Crop looks almost normal, still doing massages each day.

Gave Hydro Hen and Nutridrench upon completion of ACS for duration of 2 weeks.

2/9/25- Crop has a tendency to fill up easily, giving massages once per day to try to help keep it down. Duck is and always has been, very active and acting healthy aside from symptoms. When under stress (Such as holding her for a crop massage) she opens her mouth to breathe. During this time, she wheezes while breathing. She can now quack but it's very raspy and not normal sounding.

What course of action would you recommend after all this? Should I try a nebulizer, or putting her in a shower? Thanks for reading!
