Australorp or polish egg??

Hi there I have recently started chicken keeping and I have a few breeds (these are too young to lay) i am finding 1 egg nearly every day and at first I thought it was my polish as both girls are 5 months old and their combs/wattles have gone deep red but the eggs are a white /cream colour and small but not too small. I’ve been noticing I’m getting the exact same eggs every morning but only the australorp is in the nest boxes all the time and doing egg songs. She has been doing this for weeks but I haven’t noticed my polish girl in there. Is it possible these eggs are from the australorp and not the polish and if so is it bad they don’t look how I thought they should? Please help if she is missing something in her diet and it’s making white eggs I would like to help her.

Polish lay white eggs, so I would assume it's the australorp.

Sounds to me your polish is not laying yet. Those look like very light brown/tinted eggs which sounds about right for the australorp. Polish should lay pure white.

Thanks I thought it was strange the australorp was obsessed with nest box and I was starting to get worried she was egg bound! Now I know these are hers I don’t have to stress!
