Automatic coop door - Australia

Looking for an automatic coop door and struggling to decide.

This is my coop set up, we are located in Australia. Our chickens free range but go in here at night, they sit at the door every morning from 5:30 without fail. We’ve got neighbours and I’m worried their calling out too early in the morning - I’m also slightly over getting up at 5:30 every morning to open the door lol

No electricity to the coop. Has to be solar or battery

There are several auto pop doors in the review section.

Prices vary a lot. I just bought a simple auto pop door that works with a light sensor, but is not adjustable for €30,-. Easy to install on a wooden panel. Needs some height. Works with 3 AA batteries. It gives no warning if the batteries stop. Mine opens to a strong net covered run. So safety is not a very strong issue.

If you want one that is adjustable, use a timer in the morning and a light sensor that can be set in the evening, and has to be safe and reliable /safe you need to spend a lot more.

Before this one I had a highly adjustable Chicken guard that worked great for 5 years. But started to malfunction about once a year after.
