Hi, I received 25 assorted chicks today from MyPetChicken. The babies are whatever extra's the hatchery had the day they were born. I'm trying to figure out all the breeds that I have. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I think this chick is some kind of crested polish.

I have one random yellow chick.

I adore this baby. She is the only one of her particular breed in the group. I REALLY want to know what she is!

I have a bunch of these little red babies with white bellies. Some of them have more distinct brown chipmunk-like markings on their backs.

Gonna take some guesses!

1. White crested Blue or White crested black polish
2. Welsummer or Speckled Sussex
3. White Leghorn
4. Silver Lakenvelder
5. Black Sumatra
6. Rhode Island Red

Just guesses!

Agree exept for the 3rd one i think its a cornish cross., looks like it has too big feet.
and the 5 one looks more like a silver laced Wyandotte.

I think the only cornish that My Pet Chicken sells is the dark one.

I also thought about the Silver Laced Wyandotte for #5 but I thought her tummy was to lightly colored.

But again, I was just guessing! I can't wait to see what these little cuties grow up to be! Hope you post pictures as they get older!

Not sure about them so am not going to guess, just that no 2 is exactly the same as my Blue which came from a blue egg! I thought EE but then I was told its legs were the wrong colour?

Mine is now 13 weeks old I don;t think it is a Speckled Sussex as we have them here and the chick is nothing like them at all. Blue changed very quickly though and by the time it was a few weeks it looked like this????? But when he was hatched was deffinately exactly like No 2!!!!!!!!! If anyone knows what they are it would be great to know?

There are many breeds that look like chipmunks. (sussex, welsummers, EE w/cheeks, light brown leghorns, golden phoenix, dorkings, and orloffs - I'm sure I'm leaving out a few) Can you post a picture of your chick at 13 weeks Oesdog?

Just_Clucky84's chick #2 looks lighter... so maybe the welsummer but again, she could be an EE... just need to see those cheeks!
