Baby quail treats

So I did really good and I hatched seven button quail. They're beautiful. They're walking great chirping, all the good things that Quail do they're doing. But my question is I want to treat them...
What can I treat them with because I have other birds and I was curious if I broke down parakeet seed if that would be okay for them

I don't know about the differences of button quail from our coturnix but we give our baby quail (and chicken chicks) very young meal worms. We do provide plenty of grit for them though to be sure they can digest them well. Hopefully some folks will weigh in on button quail treats for you.

You want to wait on the treats until they're around 6 weeks old. No more than 10% of their diet should consist of treats.

You can try a few different things. Fruit, vegetables, leafy herbs, mealworms, etc.

This article on feed includes some treats. Button quail have the same dietary requirements as other quail, so the article will apply to them as well.

I feed mine on the green seeds of native grasses. The same as their parents do in their country of origin. (I am assuming you are talking about the quail we in Australia call King quail and you in the US call button) What we call button are different.

I was just thinking about treats for my older chick last night.

I didn't see it specifically in the article, but what about bell pepper leftovers? That part that includes a little of the top and the core with seeds after you cut it up.

And if I am going to feed treats, I should supply grit, right?

Those should be okay for treats. They will need grit if you're giving them anything other than milled feed.

Thanks.
I know I used to give them to my chickens, but wanted to make sure.
