I am really hoping you can help me. My chicks are orphaned but they aren't on their feet. 72 hours old and not able to stand . They hatched 2 days after their Mumma was killed by a stray cat with no incubation. Miraculous In itself really. How can I get them walking ? They eat drink and poop . Otherwise healthy . Please help ❤

I recommend using a splay leg brace. You can research these braces online, but I don’t mind sharing what I have used if you need!

Here is what I did:
I took a small elastic hair band and a small piece of a plastic straw. I threaded the elastic through the short piece of straw so that there was two small loops of hair tie at each end of the straw. Lastly, I slipped one of my chick’s legs into one of the loops and did the same with the other leg and the other loop.
