These are rare in the U.S. There are only about 10 people working on the breed. They are large for bantams and there eggs are large. We are working on getting the breed smaller and the eggs smaller. This is my third generation and my hens are a bit smaller but I feel like my egg color is lot better. Usually the bantam breed of dark egg layers don't lay very dark eggs but I am getting my egg color better. They are french as the have some feathering on the legs. I got my original stock from a friend who got her original stock from Europe from a breeder working to improve the breed. Don't ask me the name because she doesn't want to give out his name and don't ask me why. Sorry to sound so rude but every time I put these eggs for auction, people are so rude to me about them. I am done setting for a while so I thought I would sell some, if not we eat the eggs.

If you all get rude, I will pull this auction. They are my hobbie and I don't have to tolerate the drama.
I will post some pictures and some of the eggs. Thank you.

Here are a picture of the eggs. There is a cream banty egg and a rhode island red egg on the oppisite side to compare the bantam cuckoo maran eggs to.
