Bantam egg incubation period

How long does it take bantam eggs to hatch? I was thinking 21 days like regular chicken eggs but read on a few post that bantams have hatched around day 19. My main concern is when to take them out of the auto turner. We have 6( started with 13) OEG bantam eggs in our 1588 bator with auto turner. We are on day 15 as of (4/2) with steady temp. and humidity in the low to mid 40% (no humidity tips please already read plenty)
The eggs all seem to be developing well and are active

This is our first attempt at incubating and we are already addicted.

i would say 21 days. like any chicken. but you know you can always have one or two that hatch early or late!

It does take 21 days for them to hatch, but sometimes they will hatch a little early, but we still quit turning ours on day 18.

Thanks, the early hatch post didn't give their temp. and I have read that high temps. can give an early hatch. Just didn't want chicks hatching in the turner, they could get all motion sick

But seriously, We just wanted to give them the best chance at life possible.

I am running my hatch at 99.5 and I have pips this morning and it is the start of day 19. These are silkie eggs! Most of my bantams are starting to hatch day 19 out of my incubator. When I was using LG incubators day 20 I got pips. that was running 101.5. Regular chicken eggs are pipping at day 20. So yeah i would say bantams develop a little earlier.

Leave them in the turner until you see a pip, then remove them all! That is what i do.

I hatch out bantum eggs under broody hens and they rarely make it 21 days. Anywhere from 18 days to 20 is more common. Especially if its a tight sitting hen or there are two hens incubating. The more the hens get off the eggs the longer the incubation time..

Mine never hatch that early. I might get a couple that come out on day 20. I run my incubator at around 100-101.5 (its still air). I would think most with chicks hatching on days 18 and 19 are probably having higher temps...

I only hatch under broody hens. I don't even own an incubator. So I'm not sure about the temperature. I can say these babies are healthier than any I've gotten from hatcheries. This year I got 30 birds from various hatcheries and hatched out 27 with broodies. There wasn't even a pasty rear in my hatched babies. The difference is amazing. As far as the amount of time....I've heard hatches are generally shorter in the summer . It would make sense for temp to be a factor. I don't hatch in the winter so I have nothing to compare it to. However, there are no health issues in the hatched chicks whereas incubated chicks that are kept too warm generally have real problems.

This is my first time hatching. I have bantams in now and they began hatching at day 19 and kept on so far and today is day 23
with a dozen left.
is there hope for more to hatch?

waited til day 24 and then quit. I got 10 asst bantams and that's good for a first time. Thanks for the advice.
