Bantam's toenail growing sideways

One of my bantam hens has a toenail that is growing sideways out of her toe. The toe itself does not appear broken or anything and she's not limping. Is this normal? Do I have to trim this toe tail? It seems like it won't wear down because it never scratches the ground.
Note: this hen has had scaly leg mites before. I dunno if that has anything to do with it, but worth mentioning. I am not completely sure but I think her nail has always been like this since I got her 2 months ago.

From what I see, it's growing straight out of the nailbed, just twisted a little because the nail's long enough that it's hard for it to point straight down.and Sometimes they do that when they get longer. Could use a trim, but it's not really something to be worried about.
