Hello there!
We could never have cats indoors because of allergies. I'd love to have a barn cat or two on the property just to keep rodents at bay and to have around. We have several groundhogs around our property who burrow under the barn. I'm sure they are trying to eat some of our sheep hay. Will barn cats get rid of them for us? Another idea: Will barn cats keep turkey vultures away from the barn too? We have a pair that returns every year. Last year, they laid eggs in the barn before we started storing our hay and straw in there. It was a neat experience but, I'm not wanting the birds in there now and pooping all over our hay and straw. I feel bad making them find a new place to nest, but I'm sure they can find another place. Thanks for any tips or advice!
