So I ordered 9 pullets last May. 3 Welsummers, 3 Barnevelders, and 3 Easter Eggers. Well one of my Barnevelders ended up being a Roo. If I decide to hatch my Easter Eggers eggs, what color eggs would her chicks lay? Brown or Green?

That's great! I believe you would get a dark color egg. The way I understand green eggs is they are a combination of the two types of egg color producers (blue is a shell color, where as brown is an over lay of color on top of a white egg shell producing a greenish hue). I'm going to say blue shell in the inside and dark greenish brown outside color :)

I have a Barnevelder roo over light brown egg layers and I've gotten all kinds of brown colors, light beige to dark brown (with and without spots). No two of my eggs is colored the same.

I thought he would contribute the same color to each but I don't have a common theme in all my eggs (other than they are all brown :) )

Hard to tell because they all lay in the same box even though they have several to choose from. Here's a pic from the eggs I picked up. Even my bantams like to lay with them. Of course the green ones are the Easter Eggers. 20181215_173927.jpg

The dark brown with spots in the middle of your pic there looks like my barnie's eggs. I have one barnie hen and her eggs are like that.

The two brown ones on the left side look like my cross's eggs.
