The title states it all, I will try and get photos here in a few.
My Barred Rock hen has a scab on her earlobe. The injury itself looks like a chunk was taken/pecked out. The scab is dry and does not look infected or nasty. Are these injuries more common to fighting or could she have scratched it? More importantly, should I just leave it alone or treat it? I have TAO plus a wound cleaning/closing spray that is meant for dogs/cats. The spray is probably unwise since the ear canal is so close to the wound.
I "tried" to get several but she was not having it.
