Barred Rock?

The chicks in pictures 1,2,3,4,7,8,9, and 10 look like Barred Rock to me. The chicks in pics 5 and 6 look like Jersey Giants. You can tell by the yellow spot on their heads if they are Jersey Giants or Barred Rocks. Yellow spot = Barred Rock, no yellow spot = Jersey Giant (or Black Australorp)

That’s what I was thinking! Yay!

I just did the wing sexing and it looks like I only have one hen.

The “buff Orpington” feathers are looking a little white to me.

I’m kind of sad. I only got them because the kids talked me into it because we have one of our first hens named Missy who is a buff Orpington and she is the sweetest and comes to us.

They stand really tall too. I think they look leghorn like
My Orp's first feathers were lighter colored like this. I wouldn't worry yet! The standing upright thing could maybe just mean it's a roo, but it also could still be a hen that just happens to stand that way. If you aren't sure of the background of these chicks, then there can be a lot of variance between breed stock. Don't worry and enjoy the chicks :)

I'd just really wait and give them time to grow out some.

The Orpingtons I've had were light colored, they have a couple of juvenile molts to go through before they really get their feathers in nicely.
