Sorry, this should maybe come with a pic -- but someone just brought me some styrofoam coolers from the Omaha Steak company. I have not made the bators yet, but these are nicer than anything you could buy. They are thick-walled, sturdy, and squared off. I was excited! Now if I can only figure out how to make a turner.....

My daughter used one for our homemade incubator. Worked great and easy to make.

Did you HAVE to post this? I've been steadfastly holding out from making or getting an incubator but was just considering placing an order with Omaha Steak Co. Are you what they call an enabler???

Yup, I've got one right now that I forgot that we had in the basement and refound...and decided to use again. I have another cooler from omaha steaks, too that I am tempted to make another with.

I actually posted on freecycle looking for some anda guy gave me 4. You'd be surprised how many people have them and don't want to throw them out, but have no idea what to do with them.

I've bought my mother in Texas Omaha Steaks for Christmas for the last two years. She's bringing me this year's box today!

I love those boxes. My first one is on lockdown day 19 and I want the second box for my hatcher so I can stagger the hatches!

Agreed, these are awesome boxes.

I would buy the steaks just to eat chicken .....

(boooo I know...)

I made one incubator with the "drawer" method someone posted. It is just so heavy and awkward. I searched high and low for an affordable cooler and either the size was too irregular or it was too light and thin... something. I did not have luck finding a used plastic cooler.

found a good buy on an auto turner .... so here we go!
