Hello, thanks for all the helpful info! I'm both handy & time challenged. I have 9 hens for which I'd like the lowest maintenance automatic waterer and feeder. I don't have the skills or time for DIY unfortunately. Anything out there folks would recommend?

This galvanized feeder holds 75lbs:

This waterer holds 12 gallons but doesn't auto-refill. I assume a water float could be added for auto-refill but DIY ain't my jam unfortunately :(

Any thoughts or recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There's a trade-off between huge and seldom needing to be refilled, and managing feed quality, and water quality too. Automatic waterers can malfunction, never good. Huge feeders for small flocks can have feed mold or sift ingredients, or get buggy, again, not good.
For a few birds, smaller units make sense for the above reasons.
For large flocks, multiple units of each in separate areas keep birds lower in social status from being unable to eat or drink, and again, ensures that the manager keeps feed and water freshened up.
That huge feeder has a small opening for birds to eat from, only good for smaller flocks. Bolted to a wall, difficult to empty completely too.
