Hi all,
I know turkeys are mainly used as meat production but i’d be looking to get some mainly as pets but with a bonus of eggs. Preferably with the males not getting ridiculously big to the point where they can’t mate. As a bonus question how do geese and turkeys do in the same area (free range), i know there are problems with turkeys and chickens but does this apply to geese? Also would there be any fights or anything since both are quite boisterous?

Egg laying is more dependent on the individual hen than it is on the variety of turkey.

Free ranging turkeys and geese in the same area should not be a problem as long as you didn't brood them together when they were little.

Choose a heritage variety of turkey rather than a broad breasted variety.

You can learn a lot about heritage turkeys at Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys.
