Big massive eggs

Hello.anyone ever hatch out like 16 or 17 gram jap quail eggs successfully. Because I've got 13 14 and 15 and 16 17 gram eggs in my incubator. I'm aware that I might get some double yolkers but just curious if any one has had any luck from those really big eggs before

If the quail all was lays that size of egg they will be fine, if that is abnormally large egg for that quail to lay then I don’t know how well it will go

If those are unusually large for the bird that laid them, they are probably double yolkers. Those very, very rarely hatch. If those are normal for the bird that laid them, they should be fine.

Yeah those are the quails normal size eggs. So yeah I'm hoping I get slot of them hatch..

My larger eggs (I don't bother to weigh them) were the only ones that hatched in my recent batch

True. Oh okay. Yeah I weighed mine because I was just curious. Cos they say to gain larger quail is to start incubating the 14 gram eggs and any more bigger than that.
