Ramses is about 1 1/2 years old. He is a PUREBRED black Ameraucana roo from Pips&Peeps.
He has had a 95% fertility rate over 9 large fowl, dual-purpose hens. His chicks produced were beautiful little guys, all with dark legs plus muffs/beards. They were free-ranged during this time as well.
Ramses has a good temperament, but is flighty around people. He KNOWS you are boss and never questions it. Good with the girls once he proves he is the man. Calls them to food, and a GREAT flock protector.
I don't know if he is SQ as I don't breed AM's, and I don't show. But I can tell you he is the most gorgeous black rooster I've ever laid my eyes on. He has purple, green, and blue sheen on his feathers, and his tail/hackle are so full. His spurs are pretty big.
The only reason I'm selling him is because I can no longer use his services. I have 19 hens now, and he can't possibly service them all. I also need the room, and a few of my favorite hens aren't exactly fond of him anyhow.... I hate to see him go, but it's best for my girls and him. He has NO health problems whatsoever.
I've reduced the price to $15 as I need to see him go.
I'm willing to ship, HOWEVER, the buyer must pay box fees and complete shipping fees.
