My rooster is extremely healthy, happy and HUGE! And you can rest assured in the packing methods for your eggs, they have been researched and tested.
PLEASE NOTE***This is a PRE-SALE, to help ensure the freshest eggs. Your eggs MIGHT NOT ship out the same week you order them. I can GUARANTEE the eggs will be shipped as soon as possible and I will message you quickly to let you know an approximate date and stay in constant communication with you. Eggs are collected daily, candled for cracks, stored in ideal temps, pointy end down & turned several times a day.
Eggs will be very carefully packaged and each egg will be individually bubble wrapped. I will mark FRAGILE on box but I can not help how they are handled in transit. I have a great hatch rate & excellent fertility. Please follow directions below to increase your chances, I have had better luck incubating shipped eggs in an auto turner & placing in plastic or cardboard egg tray pointy end down at lock down.
Shipping will affect your hatch rate but awesome packaging helps! We lovingly wrap and care for each egg is! But PLEASE be aware of and accept the possibility of a low or 0% hatch rate due to circumstances beyond my control including USPS handling or delayed transit time(only express guarantees delivery in 1 day), your incubation practices, etc. There is No refunds or replacement on shipped eggs! I strive for good feedback, as I will do for you, so in the event that there is an issue I will work with you. I put a lot of time and TLC in my chickens and eggs! Good luck & happy hatching!
Tips: Shipped Eggs How & When to Set!
"Settle" & Setting of eggs
Shipped eggs need to be left to warm to room temperature & need to settle before adding to the incubator!
This "settle" time will vary depending on the eggs, DO NOT TURN THEM!!
REMINDER ~ Never Set COLD eggs in the incubator.
EGGS WILL NEED DIFFERENT TREATMENTS Should YOU have BAD AIR CELLS......
If an egg has a NORMAL INTACT AIR CELL:
Normal air cell eggs, settle 4-6 hours and
Then begin to incubate these upright and you may begin turning, you may lay horizontal or upright for hatching. Most people like to hatch upright for shipped eggs.
If you can turn more than 3x a day PLEASE PLEASE turn them!! 3 is minimum amount!
For ROLLING AIR CELLS:
(cells no longer at fat end of the egg but like a bubble level on the long side, or moves when you turn the egg)
DO NOT TURN
Set in incubator Upright/AIR CELL UP/FAT END UP and
Do not turn for 3-5 days once set in the incubator AT LEAST!
CANDLE ONLY FROM ABOVE LEAVE THEM IN THE INCUBATOR DURING CANDLE
If after 3-5 days and you have embryo growth and the air cell is still completely loose, then
Do Not turn for another 24 hours and candle again.
For detached, Jiggly or disrupted air cells:
If air cells are Saddle shaped, Detached/Loose, or Jiggly follow above settle times
and set in the incubator and don't turn for at least 2-3 days.
After that time, turn on the turner or begin with the gentle turning side to side
or you can turn by hand in the carton by simply tilting side to side gently. Candle again after 24 hours to check
Good luck, and happy Hatching!!
