Hello, for a few months my hens comb colour has changed. She is behaving completely normal. She got attacked by a fox in February but made a full recovery. I seem to remember it changing from them onwards. Could this be heart disease? Photo here from Jan with a red comb and now.

Try washing it off. It looks like dried blood courtesy of one of her flock mates giving her a good jab.

Ah thank you but it doesn't wash off. It's definitely inside her skin and it's getting worse but in the same pattern. Could it be from internal damage when the fox got her? She seems okay otherwise.

Can you get better pics?
If her whole comb was turning purple, I’d be much more concerned, but it’s in patches, and I haven’t seen that before. Is she displaying other symptoms?

It's very strange, it seems to be getting worse and spreading across the comb. I wonder it's a heart problem. Attaching more photos here. She hasn't got any other symptoms and is laying every day. Thank you for your help.

I can't offer much advice but I found this that might be useful https://chickenandchicksinfo.com/chicken-comb-turning-black/

Whenever I have a sick chicken I give it various combinations of the following TLC:

vitamins
electrolytes
extra protein food
ACV
garlic
live yoghurt
dewormer
lice and mite treatment

All these things help get their natural health in balance, boost energy and their immune system, promote gut health, and rule out easy to fix parasites.

Maybe a health boost will help her general condition and the comb will return to red?
