Can a blue Swedish and a black runner have a solid gray duckling? I have a gorgeous duckling that I think may be half runner but I’m wondering if that’s possible. Possible fathers are blue Swedish, blue Swedish/welsh harlequin, and Ancona. She’s the same color as the blue Swedish drake but doesn’t have a bib.

Sorry about no individual pics. She’s bonded to the rest and didn’t want to leave for a picture 😁

I don’t believe so. The bibs on Swedes is a dominant trait and would show through.

Your Swede/Welsh drake is possible with a black hen, as the Welsh allows the chance for no bibbing, and the Swede for the blue coloration.

I can’t say for your Ancona or not.
