Blackhead In Eastern Texas

Has anyone known of Blackhead being a problem in Eastern Texas (Midway/Madisonville area)? I want to start raising a small flock of turkeys this spring but I need to make sure I have their set-up right before getting them. I do have a small flock of chickens as well.

Contact your local County Extension agent. Other places to check are with local (not chain) feed stores. The local feed stores get to know their customers and can put you in touch with local turkey raisers.

Other sources for info can be local veterinarians. As a last resort you can check with your State Veterinarian.
