BLRW over Sapphire Gem

I have hatched some eggs from a Sapphire gem, the roo is a BLRW. My question is will the chicks be sex linked and will the cockerels have the identifying white mark on their head?

Unfortunately no, the resulting chicks will not be sex-linked. Crossing a sex-linked bird with a non-sex linked bird does not produce sex-linked chicks.
