I'm not an organizer, but there wasn't a thread yet, so here 'tis!

Boston Poultry Exposition Spring Show
June 6th, 2010
Four Winds Farm
31 Ennis Road
in North Oxford, Mass

Here's their website for entry form and show info

Entries accepted through May 29th. Must be NPIP certified, etc. to enter or sell.

I'm definitely going, and maybe looking for some birds to bring home, as well as some hatching eggs... who's bringing what to sell?

Also, I think you have to be an exhibitor to have a sale table/booth at this show - does anyone know if that's true? I didn't get my flock tested in time, but I'd like to bring my jewelry to sell and I haven't been able to get a response from the contact person (Stephen Blash - anyone know him?).

YAY!

Eggs I'm looking for (SQ parents preferred):
d'Uccles in anything other than MF or porcelain
Golden Phoenix
bantam cochins (birchen, brown red, or barred)
Hamburgs
golden Campine or golden Buttercup

Hens I wouldn't mind finding for sale:
SQ d'Uccles in anything other than MF (porcelain would be great, really good foot feathers preferred)
LF modern game (Tom, are you on here? Have any more you want to sell me?

)
gold-laced Sebright
bantam French marans (any color)
SQ cochins
Maybe a call duck hen, or another black east indies hen
Maybe another polish hen

I'm still trying to decide if I should enter the fav cockerel I got from Ron Patterson. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

Too bad I don't have Leisha's blues yet.

ah ha, you started one up, awsome,

so yep we are going.
hopeing to show my pheonix and black frizzle cochin bantam pullet and black cochin bantam cockerel.

How big is this show anyway? How many sellers are there (not that I should bring anything home

)?

It was a lot of fun last time I went... the show part is held inside their barn (usually an indoor riding arena, I believe), along with raffle items and sponsor/vendor booths, and birds for sale are in the adjoining parking area. They had a concession stand, etc... It's a nice place at it was really fun to hang around there for a day!
