Bought these supposed to be rare bcm

Please give your thoughts they are a red color egg never seen before they weren't cheap

Could be they were layed downstream in the lay cycle, if you were expecting darker.

My Marans lay a darker egg at the beginning of their lay cycle and will gradually get lighter.

They're pretty eggs, congrats. And best of luck with your hatch.

Are the 2 lighter eggs in the second pic Marans also? The top one looks like it has a pretty heavy bloom on it.
