Breed and Gender: My Flock

Hello BYC,

I am hoping to get some ideas from fellow chicken keepers on the breeds and genders of my chickens...

Chicken 1: Delaware pullet?

Chicken 2: Lenghorn Pullet (fingers crossed)

Chicken 3: Cochin cockerel

Chicken 4: Langshan Pullet (she has beautiful brown eyes and 3rd toe feathers)

Chicken 5: I dont have a guess for breed..I think she is a pullet though

1 and 2 look like cockrels to me. How old are they?

#1 and #2 were born mid-late March (so 2.5-3 months old). Any thoughts on breeds is appreciated.

Where did you get them?

Bird 1 is a Delaware cockerel, 2 is a White Rock cockerel, 3 looks like a poor hatchery quality/possible mix Cochin cockerel, 4 looks like a possible OE cockerel (could turn out to be a pullet), and 5 looks like an Austra White/mix pullet.

I agree! For 4 I see part of a crest and some dark skin, so I'm inclined to think some Silkie is in there too
