Hello there! I'm incredibly new to having chickens, I got them to have house hens, and wanted to make sure I could ID them correctly for proper care!

I have a little flock of four, supposedly all hens, all around 9 - 10 weeks old now, got them April 15th (they already had been at the supplier for several days) -
One seems to be a very small buff Orpington? (Is there a way to tell if she's a bantam? She's so tiny! I don't want her to get bullied, she weighs less than 2 pounds when I hold her in my hand)

Next is what I assume is an ameraucana hen (he was very insistent on "blue eggs") -

Next, I was told by the gentleman selling the chicks that these last two were "all Orpingtons" but, uh, I don't believe him, and I think you'll see what I mean.
I don't have enough knowledge of chickens to determine between all the pictures what my sassy lady is, I'm guessing leg horn?

This last one, I think, is some Ameraucana hen hybrid?

What makes you think Easter Egger over Ameraucana? I'm asking just for my own education, my internet research has been ...wild.
Coloring and leg color. Ameraucana have a standard and come in certain colors. Easter egger are mutts with no standard. The one has yellow legs and the other isn't a color that ameraucana come in I believe, although I'm no expert.

Ohhhh, that's a good point - huh! I had gotten the impression Ameraucana were also strange mutts, simply due to the history of "breed Araucanas with anything! Stop killing that 25% of chicks for mutton chops!" which resulted in the formation of the Ameraucana, but hell if I can figure out the exact story. Thank you for your insights, I'll go do more asking and looking around!

Araucana and Ameraucana are both bred true with SOPs. Easter Eggers are the mixes (aka adorable mutts). Occasionally Easter Eggers will be called Americanas (Note the different spelling).
What's an SOP?

I wish I had seen any signage, with what you guys are saying, it honestly makes sense that these two are actually Easter eggers, which is still adorable and perfect, just disappointing in regards to false advertising and false information. I appreciate having all the details.

Standard Of Perfection. Basically, breeding standards.
