This is Paisley. The breeder we bought her from said that her breed(s) are unknown, besides the fact that she is an ameraucana cross. I personally think that she has beautiful feathering, and would like to find out what breeds she is so I can determine what colour of eggs she will lay. She is only 8 weeks old. Some, but not all, of the breeds she might have in her are Marans, Orpington, Euskal Oiloa, Barred Rock, and Rhode Island Red. Please help and comment ANY breeds that you think she might have in her.

She is GORGEOUS! I love the coloring!

She looks like an Easter Egger, a hatchery produced hybrid that varies in coloration. However, if I had to guess anything she was mixed with, I would say Maran or Barred Rock, just because of the barring on her neck.

I agree with GitaBooks' guess. She will likely lay green eggs. If she has Marans in her, she could turn out to be an Olive Egger.

Can you get a profile pic of the bird standing naturally? I hate to be a dissenter, but I'm not sure that bird is ever going to lay eggs

What I can see of the coloring is iffy for a rooster, yes...but the comb doesn't look large and red so I'm on the fence pending better pics.

The red on the wings is a tell tale sign of a rooster. They are always the most pretty! In the recently posted pictures, the middle picture shows saddle feathers that only roosters have.
