Breeds starting with s

I just got 4 new chicks and I am paranoyed about knowing what breed they are all I know is that the breed starts with s and it is exotic plz make lots of suggestions :)

As far as the breed of your chicks, that's going to be hard to judge for two reasons:
1. Lots and lots of breeds of chickens look almost identical as chicks, best to wait until they have real feathers
2. We can't judge what we can't see; pics are good. Refer to the photo guidelines for this section at the top of the forum thread list.

What I suggest is that you look through this chicken breed chart for breeds starting with "s" that might be yours. Then you can post photos of your chicks once they are fully feathered and ask for confirmation of your guess.

I love that chart :) Comes in handy.

They don't list them all though. They missed Seremas

Sebright
Serama
Sultan
Spanish
Silkie

Another breed of chicken (though very exotic and difficult to find) that begins with "s" is the Sumtaler.
