If you have the chance to choose between these incubators which one you would choose?
Ignore their prices or eggs capacity what really matters to me is the accurate temp, i have used Brinsea cabinet incubators for years they are great but large cabinet incubators can’t keep the right temp in every tray so I decided to get small incubators instead of big cabinet incubator.
I breed peafowls.

I started with a Janoel 12. I have tried 2 Brinseas and have found by trial and error that the temperature was off on them but one hatched 4 peachicks and I have hatched chickens and CPQ. I now have some peafowl eggs in an Rcom 50 pro. As I have not got to hatching day with that yet I don't know how good it is but if I have a good hatch I would vote for that simply because it is so well designed. If you have the Universal tray it can be adjusted for any size egg, it has a wide variety of programmed birds or can be set up manually and the water is added without lifting the lid. The programmes require just a couple of presses on the buttons and it sets the right temperature, humidity, turning and counts the days down to stop turning on the right day. It does use distilled water which is a further expense. IF it hatches the eggs I will be so impressed but I won't know that for another few weeks.

Does your Rcom 50 holds the temperature right? I know a breeder who used it and said good things about it, he said he have more than 5 of this incubator!
By the way since you are incubating peafowls its a good idea to weight your eggs to get the correct weight loss required until hatching date many people fail to hatch peafowls because of wrong humidity, the eggs need to lose 14-15% of their original weight when interal pip happen.

Well it is holding the temperature and humidity stable as far as I know. Having bought 8 different thermometer/humidity readers over the years which I constantly checked the other incubators with and got something different with each one I am letting the Rcom do its own thing and not interfering. Yes I know that is risky but I will take the chance. I did get fairly good at judging the temperature on the other by putting my hand on them but you can't do that with the Rcom because the lid is sort of double glazed. Unfortunately it will be another 3 weeks before my faith in it can be judged. By the way it will hold 28 peafowl eggs but I haven't got quite that many in it.

That’s great that it holds 28 eggs, I thought i read it will hold only 24 pea eggs, i think i will get Rcom 50 beside the Brinsea after selling my cabinet incubators.

Don't forget to specify the universal tray. In the UK it comes with the small and large cup type trays. Those are not such a good buy. The universal tray comes with 10 division strips (I have only used 8 for the peafowl eggs) so you can adjust it for almost any sized eggs. It will tell you if the water gets low but I check it occasionally and top it up. As I have said this is my first hatch with it so I can't really recommend it until I know what happens to this.
