Broody Hen give babies or fertile eggs

I have a hen who went broody 2ish weeks ago. I am trying to decide if I should get her 2 chicks from the feed mill to raise or the hatching eggs I just recieved today in the mail. If I give her the eggs to hatch she will have been sitting for 5- 5+ weeks. If the eggs don’t hatch, I would be pretty worried about her. She goes broody over the drop of a hat, and is very difficult to break. She has been successful in accepting young babies from the feedmill, in the past.

Given the time she has been broody, I would go with the live chicks. At least that way she will start eating again.

I got her a few chicks today and put the eggs I got into the incubator. Thanks we were thinking along the same lines!
