We are at day 22 of my hen sitting on eggs. We had gone from 12 to 1. Yesterday I tried to put 3 chicks under her but she wasn't fooled :-( found the last egg destroyed today but in saying that it didnt look too good anyway.
Feel like I've wasted such a long time and should have just tried to break her broodiness. I now have to bring 3 chicks into the house to raise or find homes for cos cant really integrate them into the flock later down the track as they really don't like newbies :-(
