Brown Leghorn x Rhode Island Red Cross

I am planning on getting some Rhode Island Red hens and putting them with my Brown Leghorn rooster with the intent of breeding them and incubating their eggs. I’m hoping the result will be an excellent producer of light brown eggs. Leghorns and Rhode Island Reds on their own are already great egg producers and I’m thinking with the added hybrid vigor, the hybrids will be even more efficient layers. Has anyone here bred this cross? If so, what can I expect in terms of appearance and temperament? Typically my Leghorns seem to have heightened anxiety and are scared easily. I currently do not have Rhode Island Reds but I have in the past and they seemed more tame. Should I expect them to be more skittish like Leghorns, more tame like Rhode Island Reds, or somewhere in the middle?

Appearance-wise they will be black-tailed red like Rhode Island Reds. I don't know what you should expect for temperament.
