A few weeks ago I asked about sexing day old brown leghorns. Well it was mixed answers. But now they are almost 3 weeks old and I have an update. Or at least I think this can be considered one? I think I for sure have one or 2 roos! On 2 of my brown leghorns, their combs are huge! And they are starting to turn pink while my other 13 are still small and pale. Here is a picture of one of the 2 that I believe are roos. Any thoughts? Chest feathers are just starting to come in, but are still just pins so i cant tell if they are rosy colored or black.

Ya that one's a cockerel. Unlike popular opinion I don't believe pullets really get that big of a comb very early and surely not a lot of color in it.
That's what I was thinking. Only 2 out of 15 have big pink combs. All the others are like the one in front in the picture with 2 of them. My other chicks in that bunch are easter eggers and blue copper marans and I'm pretty sure those are going to have to be ones that I wait to see if they crow or lay eggs.
