Have you found that they’re very flighty? And it seems like they lay sooner than others? 17/18 weeks?I ended up with 7 pullets out of the 15 I got. They are now 14 or 15 weeks old and appears couple appear to be close to laying their first eggs. I rehomed the 8 cockerals as soon as their chest feathers came in and I knew they for sure where boys. The females will keep smaller combs for a while and their chest feathers will be a salmon color while the cockerlas will grow big combs real quick (I knew by 4/5 weeks which ones they were) and their chest feathers will be black.
