Bullied Hen

I have a hen that has some wounds on her neck and beak. We sprayed the neck with blue coat but have year to cleanup and spray her beak and a wound by her ear. In order to let her heal, we are considering isolating her just outside the coup I her own hen house and run. Her appetite is great, but she’s too scared to leave her beating box to eat with the flock. I have her solo in our yard where she seems to still have a lot of energy.

Please let me know if you think isolation within sight of the flock is a prudent idea until she’s wound free. Btw- I don’t recommend an English hen with an exposed neck. That’s her breed and the other girls bully her.

I do think that she should be separated but still with her flock until she heals. I had a hen who was picked on for over a year after recovering from not being able to walk. She was off her feet for a month, and she spent her days just separated by some poultry netting where she stayed close to them, and free ranged, but they could not bother her. Eventually, they accepted her back into the flock. Is she a turken or naked neck chicken, or does she normally have a feathered neck? Has she been molting? Is there any overcrowding or a lack of protein in their diet? What do you feed?
