I've notice big fuzzy bumble bees going in and out of a hole that was a knot in the cedar siding of my coop. They are not inside but in between the exterior wall and the interior wall. Could this be an issue for my flock? I promote saving the bees and won't do anything to harm them but I just want to make sure that my hens will be okay if they disturbed this potential nest.

Are you sure they are bumble bees??? Your description does match. I do have some in my area, but they do not make nests/hives like Yellow jackets, and wasps. My bumble bees do not bother people or chickens. I remove, and eliminate wasp nests. I do not bother honey bees that are also present in my yard. I do know where they live also.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome

If you know for sure they are bumble bees, be careful. You DO NOT want to disturb a bumble bee hive. Call an exterminator.

Carpenter bees would be boring their own holes in the siding not using an existing hole.
