butchered chickens Yellow skin out of freezer

We butcherd about 15 chickens 2 weeks ago. I cleaned them did the whole process and wrapped them left them in fridge for 3 days and then froze them. I unwrapped one today to make Gumbo and it is yellow!!!! like jaundace yellow. I have never had this happen before if fresh chickens I bought or made. Any advise is it ok to eat????

Often times if the chickens finish on corn, the fat will turn yellow, which is magnified by freezing. I'm sure that is just what you are experiencing.
