This has been a very heated topic in my experience. Cages or grass? I am in the middle of building a quail tractor for my birds, because that is what I think is the best option. I have had my quail in cages since I have had quail, because I read that they were much healthier. I disagree. They can’t scratch and forage for bugs, wire is bad on their feet they don’t get much space, and I just downright don’t like it. What are your thoughts?
