California Tan?

I bought this baby at Tractor Supply and they said it is a California Tan. I keep trying to research it but can't find the breed anywhere. All I can find is California White. Was it a typo?

They're a new mutt that TSC came up with. That is why there is a lack of information. This is all I have been able to find

You probably won't find much information on it, as its a new hatchery cross.

TSC does not develop breeds - they are vendors for hatcheries.

I was in TSC today and they looked it up. The California Tan is a cross between Production Reds and White Leghorns.

Hi. I got some of the same babies from TSC recently. From what information I found online, they are a cross between Production Reds and White Leghorns. They are mostly white with either black flecks or red highlights on their feathers. Also, breeding California Tans will not produce California Tan babies.
