Calling all teenagers

I’m happy to give it! I’ve both dyed it and left it natural. I’m currently working on spinning some white yarn for dying, but school has taken over and I haven’t spun in months 😭 Hopefully on break I can get back into it. It’s super relaxing to do once you get the hang of it. :D
That's awesome! Yeah school does that, I remember wanting to do stuff but having to study :hugs Have you thought what color you are going to dye it to? Now I really can't wait to start spinning and dying!

It’s going to be a three-ply yarn, so I’m thinking about dying one strand red, one orange, and one pink, kinda sunset-ish. I’m planning to use Kool-aid, which actually works super well for dying, believe it or not :lau

Nice! That sounds beautiful!!! I love sunsets! I actually saw a video of someone doing that! It was so cool! Another video was that this lady took onion skins, red cabbage, and beets and dyed her fabric it was very pretty and pastel like

Ooh, I bet those would make super pretty dyes! I’ve never tried natural dye, but I bet beet juice would last a super long time. Beets stain everything :p
The wheel is the one I want to use, it just looks so much more relaxing and old fashioned
It is, once you figure out how to keep it going 😂

They did it was a light orange, a light pink, and a lavender. I have never grown or ate a beet so I wouldnt know, but I am hoping to do some next year for my mom who loves pickled beets, hoping to do the fridge version. I guess it's like anything, there is always a learning curve lol😂
