What camera have you used that you love?

I am considering Blink. I would like to put one in my coop and one on the outside of my horse barn so I can see the property and coming and goings.

I just don't want a camera that is constantly going to wake the girls up from roosting at night. Thanks in advance!

I use a Wansview in my coop. It never wakes my girls up there is no spotlight. On my house i have tried the Arlo cameras which i liked, and right now i have another camera, can remeber ehat it is called. But i dont reccomend it because it skips recording sometimes. Itried the blink before and didnt like them, they constantly alerted me for no reason. And we figured out that it did wake them up if they moved because ours had spotlights.

I have Blink cameras that were left with the house we moved into and I hate them. Given they are a few years old, but they are SO slow and always having connectivity issues. I bought a couple Wyze cameras in the fall for the coop and love them. They are such great quality and fairly low cost for what you get. I use the wireless outdoor ones, and the charge lasts a long time. I don't bother with recording video (which is $5/mo). I currently have one pointed at the nesting boxes so I can tell who is laying. The motion detection grabs a still shot of the boxes when a hen gets in, and then again when she gets out, so I can mostly figure out who laid the eggs that day. The stills are a little fuzzy, but clear enough I can see if there's a new egg in there.

My neighbor has BLINK cameras and loves them. I use Wansview for security cams and in my coop. I DO NOT REOMMEND the screw into the light socket type as the few I have seen have an issue of going off line if the power glitches or gets turned off...not very handy. Since we live in the sticks....I am going to put a small electric fence at about 10" off the ground around my run and coop (which is inside the run) as we have critters from alligators to skunks....nightly. I will put it about 4" off the ground and about 10" from the wire around the coop and run area. Last night we had a wild hog but he did not dig under the cyclone fence like the smaller critters do.

Yesterday was my birthday and my mom surprised me with a Blink camera for the coop. It’s fantastic. I even got a notice on my Apple Watch today while I was in a meeting which made me very happy! :)

Blinks work nicely until you have to pay. Then it seems like quality goes down
We got "grandfathered" in at $4.99/mo. somehow. We have 6 indoor/outdoor and 1 indoor. We've had them years before they started charging and years since, and saw no difference at all.
