Can a Rooster live alone? (Found a rooster, can't find him a home...)

Make sure lots of fresh air......and doesn't need to be in a 'warm' place, as long as he's dry and out of direct wind.

Oh, and.... Welcome to BYC! @afhschott
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

Thank you for the info- I've gone ahead and updated my location. Appreciate the suggestion!

I have 7 serama cockerels living happily in my back yard. It might be more satisfying to give some more roosters a home with this one. That way you don’t have to worry about your rooster overbreeding to few hens. And you will be saving lives. Just observe their behavior and don’t get the ones that are being rehomed due to aggressive behavior. Although that aggressive behavior is often due to them ‘protecting’ their hens.
