Can a Whiting True Blue/Green look like this??

Hello BYC folk!
I got my order in from Murray McMurray yesterday and in figuring out who is who, it looks like either my Whiting True Green or my Whiting True Blue must be one of these girls, but I’m skeptical. I know there’s no consistent look to these breeds, but I wouldn’t expect one to look like this, with perfectly yellow down, and with *only* white feathers so far.

What do you think…could one be a WTB/G, or did I get 2 Delaware chicks instead of the one I ordered?

(Edited for clarity and to add more pics. For all 6 breeds I ordered, with pics, scroll to a later post.)

Your chicks look like they have single combs. The Blue have more of a pea comb, but I think the Green can have either. I had a Blue that was a black splash and at a distance, she looked all white. I feel like these birds are like EEs and could be any color, but how the comb is single, I'm thinking they're something different.

Hmm, I hadn’t thought about the comb, thanks for that input. I know one is a Delaware. I don’t know which one, and I’m starting to suspect both! (which is bad news because the only reason I ordered through this hatchery is for their Whiting lines!)

I'm actually wondering if either are Delawares. I see you added a picture of three chicks? The chick in between the two white ones looks like it might be your Delaware, but I'm not 100% sure. Delawares usually have some markings on their backs, though not all the time. I'd wait to see what they look like as they grow, but I'm not really seeing Delaware on either of the white ones.

The middle one has five toes and is my Salmon Faverolles. (Who apparently have grey markings down their back sometimes; something that threw me because my last girl didn’t.) These are from Murray McMurray. In their breed pictures the Delaware has very light markings around the neck; nearly all white. Not as much grey as some other lines I think.

Here are all 6. Breeds I ordered are one each of: Salmon Faverolles, WTG, WTB, Delaware, Barred Rock, Bielefelder.

Also, I’m thinking the black one with a white spot on her head is the Barred Rock, right? So the other black one must be the other of the Whitings…

Thoughts?

Oh, I didn't see the extra toes. Yep, that'd be correct then. 😊

The black one with the white spot would be your Barred Rock. If they're running a whiter line on Delaware, then that'd make sense that the Delaware chick is white. The black one probably is a Whiting. On the Whiting True Blues that I got, I got two mostly black ones and one mostly white (splash).
