I know this is a dumb question but can anyone tell by looking at the pics which one might be a rooster? I heard crowing today and by the time I checked, it stopped.

Black one has no combs. Only the white one has combs. Driving home right now to take some pics. The white one is the only one with combs. Also has some massive feet.

The black bird is an EE. They have smaller pea combs that don't get very large, and the beard typically covers the wattles. I'm betting that's your cockerel.
