Can bantams eat layer pellets, or do they need crumbles?

Hey everyone! My niece will be getting some bantam chicks next year, and while I know to feed them crumbles as chicks, I don’t know if they can be switched to pellets when they mature. It’s a lot better for us to have pellets, as crumbles tend to be spilled (at least by my standard chickens), which brings in the mice.

So, can fully grown bantam chickens eat regular layer pellets?

Many thanks!

What type of bantam. Mine could do layer pellets, but I didn't have any of the super small bantams

I got some old English blue games and they are on crumble cause when I first got them I almost killed them with pellets and cracked corn every now and again give them some little seed like millet

Cochin, D’Uccle, EE, Dorking, and Ameraucana.

Oh, no! I didn’t think they would have trouble with corn! We’ll definitely have to be careful with kitchen scraps. I’ve only ever had standard chickens, so this is a learning curve for me.

So do you think any of the breeds I mentioned with have issues with pellets?

Sorry it’s taking me so long to respond; it’s been busy, and I’m easily distracted.
I have kept and fed pellets to bantam cochins, bantam EE, and d'uccle. None had any problems. I've seen chickens of all sizes swallowing things that look too big for them without issues.
