I had a hen go broody on 3 eggs, but something got into the coop and killed her, and one of her eggs. I put the other 2 in the incubator on day 13. One hatched today and the other, I was convinced was a quitter. I just pulled it out of the incubator to candle it and saw the tiniest movements inside. First, is it ok to leave the hatched chick in the 100 degree incubator for the night while it dries, and second, how can one egg be so far behind?

Yes.

I don't know exactly how, but sometimes eggs will hatch several days apart even if they started incubating on the same day. It is just one of those things that happens sometimes.

I had 3 eggs in the incubator, one hatched today, the other have not. How long should I wait for the other 2 eggs to hatch? I plan to remove the new chick as soon as the feathers are dry.

I would probably give the other eggs at least 2 or 3 days to see if they hatch.

Yes, it should be fine to remove the chick when its feathers are dry.
