i have chickens and might be getting a farm piglet and bottle feeding it but i don't know if the pig and chickens will get along when the pig is older, i am getting a female pig if that helps, i know males can get aggressive

Welcome to Backyard chickens. I don't have an answer for you - I've never had pigs. I would suppose when they are grown they might injure the chickens by walking on them - and they might be eating each others food- which might not be a good idea. I'm sure other greeters will be responding to you and may have experience with pigs.

I've never had a pig either so all I can say is hi and it's nice to have you here!

I, too, have never had pigs, let alone had pigs in with chickens so I can not really answer your question. I just wanted to pop in and say
welcome to the BYC flock! We are glad you joined us!

You might get by with it while the pig is little, but a little older and your pig can and will catch a chicken and consume it. Most farm birds are pretty wary of pigs and can duck into their pen and grab snatches of their feed without getting caught, but raising them together may cause the chickens to grow complacent around the predator in their midst.

You could try it and it could all turn out roses, but just be aware that pigs like meat as much as grain and they can be pretty quick when they want to. It will all depend on the individual nature of the pig and also the fleetness and wariness of the chickens. Who knows? They could all be the best of buds and nothing happen, but it could just as easily turn ugly.

Here's a few pics that seem to show a close relationship....

And here's some pigs eating dead chickens....
