I know people avoid soy food but are green soybeans ok? I know that in the human world, they (along with tofu, miso, natto, etc) don't carry the stigma that soy in general does.

I read that thread before and it says soy beans but doesn't give any reasons why they can't have them. Just being soy isn't a good enough reason for me, unprocessed soy isn't bad. I fed my chickens cooked (boiled for a sec.) green soy beans and they are all fine. I think as long as you're not feeding them a TON of it they'd be fine. Please research some more though and don't take my opinion for fact as this is just my personal experience.

I think soybeans have to be heat treated for 20 minutes to be safe. Raw soybeans are not good. I'm sure they don't affect them right away, but probably longer term.
